Shore Lawn
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe for my pet?
Yes. Once applications have dried—typically within one hour—the lawn is safe for pets. We recommend keeping pets off treated areas until fully dry.

How will I know when you’re coming?
You’ll receive a text notification before each scheduled visit. Exact application dates are not guaranteed, as timing may shift due to weather and growing conditions.

How can I pay?
We accept check, ACH, and credit card. You may either prepay for service or keep a card on file, which will be charged after each application is completed.

Do you offer one-time treatments?
No. Shore Lawn operates exclusively on seasonal lawn care programs. Consistent, properly timed applications are the only way to achieve lasting results, and we do not offer one-time or spot treatments.

How long does it take to see results?
Some improvements can be seen within the first season, but meaningful, lasting results take time. Lawns that start in poor condition often require multiple seasons to reach their full potential. Healthy turf is built through consistency, not quick fixes.

My lawn is in rough shape. Can you still help?
In many cases, yes—but expectations matter. If a lawn is severely thin or damaged, overseeding with soil amendments may be required to see real improvement. We typically recommend overseeding in the fall, when conditions are best for long-term success.

How often do you treat my lawn?
Applications are performed on a recurring schedule throughout the growing season, typically every four to six weeks. Timing is based on turf needs, weather conditions, and product performance—not fixed calendar dates.

I don’t see changes yet. Is the treatment working?
Most weed control products take one to two weeks to show visible results. Not all weeds disappear at once, which is why our program is structured with multiple applications throughout the season to steadily reduce pressure over time.

Will you come back out if weeds remain?
We do not offer specialty return visits between scheduled applications. Our programs are designed so progress happens over time, with each application building on the last. This approach delivers better long-term results than reactive treatments.

Do you guarantee weed-free lawns?
No lawn can be completely weed-free, and guarantees often create unrealistic expectations. Our focus is on proper timing, correct products, and consistent care to significantly improve turf health and reduce weed pressure over time.

Do you mow lawns?
No. Shore Lawn specializes exclusively in lawn health services such as fertilization, weed control, and turf care programs. We do not provide mowing or general maintenance services.

Do you repair irrigation systems?
No. We do not perform irrigation repairs. However, we do offer irrigation management services for an additional fee, helping ensure watering practices support healthy turf and proper treatment performance.
